This is the beginning of a beautiful friendship with the blogging world.
This is my second semester at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and I am loving it.
Here I create my Fashion Source Book for my History of the 20th Century Fashion Arts course. This blog will be filled with inspiration from the past and present.
It will give me an opportunity to share my perspective and explore the amazing history of fashion. I am looking forward to diving deep into the trenches of this fascinating fashion frontier.
I must begin by paying homage to John Galliano. The Dress to the left is from the fall 2007 Couture 60th Anniversary collection for Christian Dior. Galliano drew inspiration from the great impressionists, his Spanish roots and the Christian Dior legacy. John Galliano is an amazing artist and fashion innovator his attention to detail is unmatched and definitely something aspire to.
